Papelón Fish Farming Station: fingerling production center in Portuguesa

Abstract

For more than 20 years, the Papelón Fish Farming Station, managed by the National Institute of Agricultural Research (INIA) in Portuguesa state, has been developing various technologies to increase the production of fry and their genetic improvement, with the aim of supplying high-quality, low-cost food to the Venezuelan population.
