Artisanal tomato seed processing: an alternative for small producers
Abstract
Seed represents a basic input for agriculture; Man throughout time has used various practices and strategies for their reproduction, multiplication and conservation, thus guaranteeing the survival of species. Furthermore, the seed needs to be alive and be able to preserve its qualities for future generations, hence the importance of managing appropriate practices for its extraction, processing and conservation.
