Effect of a second application of fertilizer on the production of INIA S-5 yellow corn
Abstract
Corn (Zea mays L.) is one of the most important cereals worldwide due to its high nutritional value and fundamental role in human nutrition and the nutrition of some animal species. This crop has high nutrient requirements, making the implementation of an appropriate fertilization plan essential for optimizing its productivity. Specifically, corn requires macronutrients such as nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K), as well as micronutrients such as molybdenum (Mo) and zinc (Zn), which are crucial for achieving good yields.
