Preparation and uses of compost for organic farming
Abstract
Nature is wise, beautiful, and perfect; the biological processes that occur within it seek to benefit living beings. Composting is one of these processes. Compost is understood as any substance of organic or mineral origin that, when incorporated into the soil, enriches it with elements necessary for the proper development of plants. Composting is the transformation of organic waste into a stable form through the activity of microorganisms. Nature activates this process in its search for balance under appropriate conditions, executing it perfectly. In other words, the composting technique reproduces the work that nature does by providing microorganisms with the appropriate conditions for their development.
