Abstract

To achieve high yields and good nutritional quality in any crop, producers must consider common practices such as soil preparation, planting, fertilization, phytosanitary control, and harvesting. Although this seems obvious, few pay sufficient attention to fertilization management, considering soil nutrients and those not available in the quantities and proportions required by a particular crop, to maximize its yield and nutritional quality.
