graft of the Poultry Project.
Abstract
The socialist graft is part of the nation's new socialist productive model, proposed in the first Plan of the Simón Bolívar National Project from 2007 to 2013 and the second Plan de la Patria from 2013 to 2019. The National Institute of Agricultural Research (INIA Anzoátegui) in Anzoátegui state, through its Community Participation and Development Coordination, deployed community promoters to monitor and conduct research in communities surrounding strategic production projects, with the goal of identifying and promoting the participation of organized communities in the region's productive activities. The strategy used was the dot-and-circle approach, which encompasses communities within a perimeter, ranging from 1 to 15 kilometers in radius. In this first step, socio-productive and socio-political efforts were planned, organized, and monitored to leverage food sovereignty and security for the communities included in the INIA Anzoátegui poultry project.
